ABOUT RYAN SHAUGHNESSY
Ryan is a Class A Member of the PGA of America and originally from the Lehigh Valley. He was born and raised in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State’s Professional Golf Management Program in 1999.

Ryan, his wife Liz, and their two young children have returned to PA from metropolitan New York where he spent 16 years as a teaching and playing professional at Hudson National Golf Club – a Golf Digest Top 100, Ridgeway Country Club, and Round Hill Club, ranked 6th best in Connecticut.

Career Highlights
- Having student, Matt Camel, qualify for the Finals of the 2014 Drive, Chip and Putt Competition held at Augusta National Golf Club. At 15 years of age, Matt won the long drive portion of the competition by bombing a 281 yard drive in front of a huge crowd!
- Claiming victory in Metropolitan Assistant’s Event at Sunningdale GC in Hartsdale, NY. Ryan shot 29 on the front 9 and won the event with a score of 66.
- 3-time selection to play in the Squire Cup Matches. Pairs top assistants in the Met Section against head professionals. Team selections are based on demonstrated qualities in Leadership, Playing Ability, and Job Performance.
